Please join us at KECNS
To be eligible for admission to the KECNS programs, a child must have reached his or her third birthday by December 31st of the current year. A child turning three after December 31st is eligible to join KECNS on his or her birthday, if space is available.
Toilet training
Children who are still completing toilet training are still eligible for admission. We understand that toilet trained children will occasionally have toileting accidents as they adapt to the environment and routine.

KECNS morning program for students who attend the Kent Center School (KCS) Afternoon PreK program. At 12:10 PM, Region 1 Bus is provided to bring your child from KECNS to KCS. |
KECNS provides flexible enrollment. Children can attend KECNS for one, two, three, four or five days a week.

How to Apply & Enroll
To apply to KECNS,
For enrollment to KECNS, please return the following forms, signed and dated:
- please complete the Child Enrollment Form, accompanied by a $45 application fee, and return it to KECNS (see Contact Information).

- Use of Photos Form
- Child Guidance (Discipline) Policy Form
- A CT Early Childhood Health Assessment Form or a similar form provided by your pediatrician, which includes the child's date of birth and is signed and dated by a physician, physician assistant or advanced practice registered nurse documenting an examination completed within (1) year prior to enrollment, and that includes a screening for risk factors for tuberculosis; also note that flu immunization is also required by the CT DPH.
