Admissions to KECNS
To be eligible for admission to the KECNS programs, a child must have reached his or her third birthday by December 31st of the current year. A child turning three after December 31st is eligible to join KECNS on his or her birthday, if space is available.
Children who are still completing toilet training are still eligible for admission. We understand that toilet trained children will occasionally have toileting accidents as they adapt to the environment and routine.
KECNS does not and shall not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion (creed), nationality, ethnicity, disability, marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity, or veteran status, in any school activities or operations, including school sports and programs.

KECNS Open House is held annually in the spring. Families have the opportunity to tour the school, learn about the childcare programs for preschool and school age children, and speak with teachers and Board members, while meeting other interested families in the community.
Applications for admission, accompanied by a $45 application fee, are accepted beginning with the spring Open House. Attending the Open House is not a requirement to apply.

To enroll in KECNS, complete and return the following forms to the school, prior to enrollment:
All children's physicals must be updated yearly, and immunization records must be maintained per State of Connecticut requirements. No child may be allowed to attend school without up-to-date, current forms.
